The act of sharing is so tragically empty across the internet.
No precious object of yours to give up. No intended recipient. No looking into their eyes to see the reaction as you place it in their hands. No human touch as it’s exchanged. No care taken to look after it. No moment of returning it to the lender and sharing your thoughts with them.
No wonder no-one cares.
We go to all the wrong places looking for validation and pour our water out on the ground.
We call this progress.
