Two Way Door

How to get from here to there,

how to lose what can’t be lost,

how to face what I can’t bear,

how to cross what can’t be crossed.

Sickly feelings coalesce,

mind prepares for scary scenes,

unequipped to second guess,

what the Hell this nightmare means.

Helpless mayflies watch in awe,

sights their eyes can’t understand,

in and out a two way door,

pushed and pulled by nature’s hand.

        1. Oh thank you then!
Yeah maybe the metaphors don’t work so well. It’s hard to see when you’re still inside it. A wise man would rest poems a couple of weeks and re-read them. I am not a wise man 😉
